Some more details, from the one topic I was able to find they said that the printer pretty much has a parallel to USB converter built in to it, this may or may not be printerr.
I can't for the life of me find it. I went from at least being able to print a test elttron and talk to the printer along with being able to print out at least a yellow outline printer thought it was a monocrome driver to bupkis now as the printer spins the wheels in the wrong direction.

I do recall unhappiness with Vista that was never resolved. Seems like poor planning on Zebra or Eltrons side back then, hopefully Zebra support might have some solutions. Its space-saving, small footprint design is the perfect choice for desktop and countertop applications. When I specify a driver location it primter says it can't find the driver. So I've got to find a solution or an expert who knows more about these and knows how to use the command system or a way to get it to downgrade other than that I'll need to take it in for servicing if I can't find someone.

I updated via the firmware on Zebras site but of course there was no actual check to see if it's printerr proper firmware and it would seem since there's multiple versions of the that this firmware has now confused the printer.
The P3110c is truly user-friendly. Just talked to P3100c said it'll need a new logic board, at least their service is here in America and it was a one minute call and knew off the bat what I was talking about.

Had an issue with Samsung label printers that were improperly configured, until the dip switches were properly set and pronter software tool was used to properly configure the printer, it would not print a correct label. There are both USB and Parallel on the back of the unit. Buying for the Government?
